About the Property
Waterside Lodge, Davidstow, North Cornwall, sleeps 6 plus infant in travel cot, in 3 bedrooms, has a spacious riverside garden, with a low picket fence, and parking is available for 2 cars adjacent to the lodge. Please note we do not accept pets, nor allow smoking or vaping inside the lodge.
A large patio area with a substantial dining set & barbecue is the perfect place to enjoy abundent wild life, and the afternoon and evening sunshine that Cornwall has to offer. British countryside at its finest. If you are feeling more energetic, there is a free on-site tennis court for your use, on a first come, first served basis.
The lodge is presented to a high standard and there are plenty of oak beams adding to the charm of the property. A log burner gas effect fire provides a cosy ambience for those looking for an autumn or winter holiday, perfect for snuggling down with a mug of hot chocolate or a glass of wine to watch that movie or read your favourite book.
There is a well fitted kitchen with oven, hob, microwave, washer/dryer, dishwasher and the dining area has a table with seating for 6. We also provide a high chair and junior chair.
Within easy reach of North Coast beaches, Tintagel and Boscastle, the surrounding area offers plenty of things to do for all interests: surfing, National Trust Properties, Gardens to visit, Golf, Children’s entertainment and much more.
One superb shower room with wash hand basin, wc and a large, low level entry shower tray, is located on the ground floor, together with one double bedroom also on the ground floor this makes an ideal property for those with mobility issues
The King bedroom and second bedroom with twin beds is located on the first floor, together with bathroom with bath, shower over, wc and wash hand basin.

Out of season short lets are available. 3 night minimum. Please enquire. These exclude school holidays, Christmas/New Year and any other special offers. Changeover days can be flexible out of peak times. Our short break prices reflect the fact that our changeover costs are exactly the same as if you were to book a complete week.

Booking Terms & Conditions
BOOKING
Payment is by Bank Transfer (our preferred method), Cheque or Credit Card. A deposit
of one third (or such lower sum as shall be agreed) is required to confirm your booking.
The balance should be paid 42 days before the arrival date, along witha separate cheque
(or transfer) for £100. This is a security deposit against breakages and damage etc or any
excess cleaning which might be necessary as a result of guests failing to comply with these
conditions. It will be returned to you within 10 days of the end of your holiday if no claim for
damages is appropriate. (To date it has never been necessary to use this deposit. Normal
wear and tear such as the odd broken glass or plate is understood.) If paying by cheque,
please make cheques payable to “Mrs. J. L. Heath”.
Where bookings are made within 42 days of your arrival date the full amount and security
deposit is required with your booking.
CANCELLATION
Any cancellation must be notified in writing as soon as possible and unfortunately deposits
are not refundable. In cases where the balance has already been paid this will be refunded
(less expenses and any loss of rental) if we manage to re-let the property, but we will use all
reasonable efforts to do so. Where the balance has not been paid it will become payable on
demand unless it has been possible to re-let the property.
(We highly recommend you take out holiday cancellation insurance).
In the event that the property becomes unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control
we will refund the whole of the money paid but our liability is limited to the cost of the
accommodation at Waterside Lodge for the period you have paid.
If the balance is not received 42 days before the due date, then we may treat the booking as
cancelled and, if possible re-let the property
