   Terms & Conditions

1. To secure your holiday dates we require a £50 non-refundable deposit plus a £10 administration fee (we have to pay this to Butlins), or payment in full if your holiday is in less than 8 weeks’ time.
2. When you pay the balance, we require a security bond payment of £100 to cover any accidental damage. The security/damage deposit will be returned once our cleaning contractors have informed us that everything is okay. The Lead person is responsible for any breakage or damages.
3. Butlins make a charge to replace passes or wristbands that become lost.
4. Cancellations: If you need to cancel your holiday in the 8-week period before your break, the balance would only be partly refundable as follows: – Week 8 – 80%, Week 7 – 70%, Week 6 – 60%, Week 5 – 50%, Week 4 – 40%, Week 3 – 30%, Week 2 – 20%, Week 1 – 10%

We suggest you take out Holiday Insurance to cover unexpected eventualities.

5. Booking Amendments: Any further amendments to the booking form will be subject to a £10 administration fee, rising to £20 within 3 days of the break and £30 within a day of the start of the break.
6. Vehicles must be parked in allocated spaces. Only one car per caravan is permitted to park on the Caravan Park, all other vehicles need to be parked in the overfill car parks. No vehicle larger than a people carrier can be parked on the parking areas on Lakeside Caravan Park. Charging of electric vehicles via the caravan is not permitted.
7. Strictly NO pets/animals allowed in the caravan under any circumstances. We would make you aware that the owners do occasionally visit with a dog, who is restricted to the lounge area, and the caravan is thoroughly cleaned after any visit. If any of your party has a dog allergy, this may not be the caravan for you.
8. Smoking is NOT permitted in the caravan, at the doors, or out of the windows. Failure to comply will result in the damage deposit being kept to deep clean the caravan.
9. Occupancy: All caravan lettings for any break that includes under-18s should include a responsible adult who is at least 25 years of age. We cannot accept bookings from groups of all one sex under the age of 30.

        We need to know:  The lead guest’s name and email address, the names, addresses and dates of                 birth of all members of your party. This is a legal requirement to allow access to Butlins                                   entertainment venues and use of the range of activities and facilities whilst on your break. Only the               guests listed on the booking may occupy the caravan.

10. Behaviour: Please show considerations to other guests and Butlins team members. Offensive or illegal behaviour and excessive noise will not be tolerated. lf guests fail to     comply with these rules, security may ask you to leave the site.  Any persons that are asked to leave the site by security lose the rights for claiming any refund.
11. Ball games are not permitted between the caravans. Please use the allocated areas.
12. Please do not litter the site – use the bins provided.
13. Electrical Appliances: If you bring electrical appliances you do so at your own risk.
14. Please note passes are for entry into Butlins, we cannot guarantee access to all shows or activities should Butlins put in any restrictions or capacity reached. Butlins reserve the right to change any advertised entertainment/activities and we cannot take any responsibility for this. Caravan hire does NOT include Arena Event passes for Shiiine, Cream, Fat Boy Slim and Darts. We can apply for these tickets for you at an additional cost.
15. Butlins require all guests aged 18 and over to carry photo ID. This is a specific requirement for their Big Weekender breaks.
16. The beds have mattress protectors and pillow protectors already on.  This is for protection of the bedding only and the covers are not removed after each let.  We therefore ask that you bring your own duvet covers, sheets and pillowcases to put on over the ones already supplied.  Should any of our covers be removed then you will be charged for replacements.  We ask that should the bedding be soiled during your stay that you notify us and leave the soiled bedding in the caravan for our cleaners to remove.

         Problems With The Caravan: In the unlikely event that there are problems with the caravan, you           must telephone Tony on 07730 161561 immediately, so as to give us time to arrange someone to                     visit and rectify the problem, as we will not accept any issues after the holiday.  Whilst every effort              will be made to repair any problems with equipment inside the caravan, such as TV etc, we cannot                make any refunds for items not working.  Lost Keys: If keys are lost or not returned replacement                locks and keys will be charged out of the security/damage deposit.

17. Damage to our property:Please treat the caravan with care and respect. You will be held responsible for any damage caused during your stay.  Any bad spillage on duvets or carpet and sickness the cleaning contractor will charge additionally for this, and this will be deducted from the security/damage deposit. Any damage caused above the £100 damage deposit, the lead name on the booking will be held accountable to pay the additional amount within 14 days of receiving the invoice for additional repairs, damage, additional cleaning or replacement of things. Failure to pay for damage, repairs, additional cleaning or replacement of things we will proceed through the small claims court and in all instances of major damage the police will be informed, and a crime reference number obtained.
18. We cannot be held liable for personal injury, loss or damage to any of your possessions during your stay. We recommend you take out holiday insurance as none is provided within the price of the caravan holiday for any circumstances.

Other Terms and Conditions

Adult Breaks
A maximum of 6 adults are allowed in the caravan. The lead person must be aged 25 or over and all guests must be over the age of 18 and on the electoral register. All guests to bring Photo ID. Ideally this would be a passport or driving licence, however if you don’t own one of these another form of identification will be acceptable if it has your name and clear photograph.  (Please see https://www.bigweekends.com/resorts/before-you-go for more details). The photo ID accepted for check-in is not the same ID required for Challenge 25 in the bars. So, if you’re lucky enough to look under 25, please bring a valid passport or driver’s license.

Family Breaks
A maximum of 6 people are allowed in the caravan. If there are any persons under the age of 18 in the party, then a responsible adult of 25 or over needs to be present. Please do not leave children unattended in our caravan.  Please note we do not allow all male/female groups on family breaks.

Just For Tots Breaks – There must be at least one child aged 5 or under to book these breaks.

Children – Please do not leave children unattended in the caravan.

Health & Safety: Height restrictions apply on all the rides and activities.

Splash Waterworlds: In Splash Waterworlds, all non-­swimmers under 14 years and children aged 8 years and under must be accompanied by an adult.

Funfair: Restrictions and additional charges may apply on certain funfair rides and other facilities.

Open Water Policy: Butlins operates an open water policy whereby all children must be supervised by an adult at all times around open water and under no circumstances go swimming in lakes, ponds or moats.

Fishing Lake:  Fishing is permitted only on production of a Rod Licence and according to Butlins rules and regulations.
