Booking Terms & Conditions

DEPOSITS & PAYMENT

1. A provisional booking will be accepted by the caravan owners, subject to receiving a £100 non refundable deposit within 5 working days, the deposit should be made by bank transfer. Upon receiving the deposit, you’ll receive confirmation for the dates that you have now booked. Please note that ALL bookings are provisional until the caravan owners receive the deposit.
2. If the deposit is not received within 5 working days it is assumed by the caravan owners that the provisional booking is no longer required.

DEPOSITS ARE NON-REFUNDABLE IN THE EVENT OF CANCELLATION.

3. THE BALANCE OF THE HIRE CHARGE IS DUE SIX WEEKS PRIOR TO ARRIVAL, if the balance is NOT received within this time frame, then the caravan owners reserve the right to hire the caravan to someone else. Bookings taken with less than SIX weeks remaining can only be accepted if payment is made in FULL.
4. The hirer shall pay a £100 refundable security bond. This bond is fully refundable at the end of the hire period and returned within 48hrs of departure date. The caravan owners reserve the right to withhold some or the entire bond and /or bill the hirer for the additional cost of: a) replacing and/or repairing all damage b) all breakages c) charge for additional cleaning of the caravan or removing stains or replacing as new.

ALL BREAKAGES, DAMAGE AND STAINS WITHIN THE CARAVAN MUST BE PAID FOR.

CANCELLATIONS

5. In the event of a cancellation, The hirer must confirm this in writing. (Deposits are not refundable in the event of a cancellation).
6. No refund will be made to the hirer whose hiring has commenced and who vacates the caravan for any reason including an emergency at home.
7. Once the balance has been paid refunds will only be considered in certain circumstances and at the owner’s discretion and subject to the time remaining prior to the holiday and a replacement booking being obtained.
8. If a refund or cancellation is agreed a £50 administration fee will be charged.

GENERAL BOOKING CONDITIONS

9. Bookings will only be accepted from hirers who are twenty-one (21) years of age and above. No stag or hen parties will be accepted. Any same sex groups must be approved by the caravan owners before booking can be confirmed.
10. Only the persons on the booking form may stay at the caravan. Over Occupancy will not be tolerated, this may result in the contract being terminated and occupants required to leave with no refund.
11. Changes to a booking are allowed by PRIOR agreement with the caravan owners and must be requested by email/mail to the owners, a change to the booking will not be accepted as agreed and confirmed until confirmation has been sent by the owners.
12. The hirer is responsible for the conduct of all persons listed on the booking form.
13. The hirer agrees that all persons named on the booking form shall be with you (the hirer) during your hire period of the holiday caravan. Holiday park owners and/or their staff shall have a copy of your booking form. The booking form is important because it is for you and your parties safety and security.
14. Each person listed on the booking form and your guest(s)/visitor(s) must be prepared to identify themselves to the park owners or their staff upon request and comply with their reasonable requirements.
15. The hirer shall notify the caravan owners in writing with any changes to person(s) listed on the booking form at the earliest possible opportunity and in any event, prior to arrival at the holiday park.
16. The hirer must give access to the holiday caravan as/when required by the caravan owners, holiday park owners and their staff/agents.
17. The caravan owners reserve the right to refuse any booking without reasons being required and reserve the right to terminate any booking for whatever reason at their absolute discretion.
18. Park rules must be adhered to at all times a copy of which will be provided to you upon arrival.

UPON COMMENCEMENT OF HIRE

19. The holiday caravan maybe occupied from 3pm onwards on the first day of hiring.
20. In the case of a maintenance problem, the hirer shall contact the emergency number provided. D.I.Y repairs must NOT be attempted. If the hirer does any D.I.Y repairs, then rule 4 above will apply.
21. DOGS AND OTHER ANIMALS ARE NOT PERMITTED IN THIS CARAVAN.
22. Smoking is NOT permitted in the caravan nor on the decking area.
23. The caravan is to be left in a clean and tidy condition, please empty all bins and remove foodstuffs and drinks from the cupboards and fridge/freezer.
24. The caravan owners, holiday park owners and their staff do not accept liability for any loss or damage to the hirer’s property and/or accidents, injuries, illness, diseases, arising from the hire of the caravan or use of the holiday park, including acts of god or extreme weather conditions.
25. The holiday caravan MUST be vacated by 10.00am on the last day of hiring unless a delayed departure is agreed with the caravan owners in advance, this is occasionally possible and may attract a small additional fee dependent on circumstances.
26. No Prams/Buggies to be left open nor used in the caravan in the past this has caused damage to doors furniture and fittings.
27. Bed linen & hand towels are provided for the sole use within the caravan living and accommodation areas, they are not to be taken to or used in other caravans, around the park or off site under any circumstances. Bath/Shower/Beach towels are not provided at this time, guests will be required to provide their own.
28. IF YOU ARE ASKED TO VACATE THE CARAVAN/HOLIDAY PARK BY THE CARAVAN OWNERS, HOLIDAY PARK OWNERS OR THEIR STAFF FOR ANY REASON WHAT SO EVER, THE CARAVAN OWNERS SHALL NOT REFUND ANY MONEY PAID, ANY CHARGES MADE TO THE CARAVAN OWNERS BY THE PARK OWNERS OR STAFF IN RELATION TO THIS WILL BE PASSED DIRECTLY TO THE PRIMARY HIRER AND AN ADMIN FEE OF £50 CHARGED

    Amendment to Terms & Conditions – Corvid 19

    You must tell us straight away if you or any member of your party has Corvid 19 symptoms. You will be expected to return home immediately for both your own safety, and for the safety of camp staff and the local communities.  If you have to self isolate in the holiday property we regret that we will have to charge for extended occupancy at the daily rate applicable at your time of stay.

    If you do develop symptoms during your stay, you will be required to return home immediately and stay in your own home while you self isolate. The caravan owner nor the  Holiday Park will accept any responsibility for any matters beyond our control or for any COVID –19 related matters that occur whilst you are staying in the property.
