We have 2 caravans in a quiet corner of the Bideford Bay Park right next to the woodland walk to the beaches and coastal path to Clovelly which is a scenic 4 mile walk.
Our vans are great for that quiet retreat , dog walking and chilling out and equally as good for large famillies who need the entertainment and the extra space.
Both vans are 12 foot wide and 35 foot long and are fully equipped double glazed and heated.
The 6 berth has 2 bedrooms and a sofa bed in the lounge area. It has a breakfast bar type kitchen, a large lounge and a good size bathroom which can be accessed from the main bedroom and the hallway.
The main bedroom is full size with a new double divan and large wardrobe and dressing table.
The second bedroom is twin bedded with a wardrobe. The beds can be pushed together.
The 3 bedroomed van has 2 twin rooms and a double bedroom plus sofa bed in lounge. This van has 2 toilets and a large bathroom with double shower.
TV and DVD player supplied.
We supply duvets and pillows , bath mats and hand towels but ask our guests to bring their own bed linen and towels.
We provide a travel cot and lots of games, toys and outdoor playthings such as body boards and fishing nets for the kids.
BBQ provided and we have outdoor dining/seating on the large secure decks.
We are right by the large car park but there are only 3 caravans in our row so it is very private and quiet . Just a 5 minute walk over to the playgrounds, swimming pools and clubhouse.
Passes for the club house and swimming pools are around £6 per adult for the week and can be obtained from the park reception. There is a launderette, small shop, takeaway on site as well as a main restaurant and amusement arcades.
We have wonderful views from the vans as there is no one in front of us or to the side and we can see right across the bay. The walks are excellent, a 20 minute walk through woodland coastal path to the very scenic and atmospheric Bucks Mills beach and further on to Peppercombe beach. Westward Ho! is 7 miles away and is miles of golden sands, amidst a nature reserve, perfect for dog walks and surfing galore.
The Tarka trail is a lovely walk and cycle route , bikes can be hired locally at reasonable costs.
Clovelly is just up the road as is Hartland Quay, again very scenic and great walking routes. Bude is further on and that means you are now in North Cornwall as we are right on the Cornish /Devon border.
The Big Sheep and The Milky Way are nearby so always plenty for the kids to see and do.
The local pub welcomes dogs and offers very good food.
We are 4 miles from the main shops Asda, Lidl etc so you have everything you need within a few miles reach.

Coming out of lockdown the disappointment of a cancelled cruise was momentarily forgotten after an excellent break at Bideford Bay.
The caravan was excellent, clean tidy and so clearly loved and homely which made us all feel welcome and comfortable. Everything you could need is provided in the caravan which really helps. The location of the caravan in the park is superb, very close to the shop, club house and play park... very short walk but far enough away to remain peaceful.
The site was great, good outdoor space and the pools open operating under covid safe rules.
The location is fantastic with a massive choice of lovely beaches and attractions to choose from.
We had to drag our two boys out of the van to go home, they only agreed to leave peacefully when we informed them we have the two caravans owned by the same owners booked in October and next time their cousins will be staying next door!
Highly recommend for anyone from couples with or without dogs and families who want to have lots of fun making memories. Can’t wait to go back!
An amazing 5 night stay in a great location on the costal path. Perfect for us and our little dog, we love walking and the walk to Clovelly from the site is gorgeous with amazing views. To be honest you are spoilt for places to visit closeby but 2 of our favourites are Westward Ho and Instow.
We've stayed in the 6 berth caravan twice now and already booked for 2021! Which I think says it all!
Caravan is spotlessly clean, comfy and well appointed with parking close to the caravan. The site is well maintained and has a good clubhouse/ pool/ childrens activity playground. Site staff always very friendly and helpful.

1.LEGAL DISCLAIMER The contract entered into is between Debra Hale and Vince Ayling and the person making the actual booking (who must be over 18 years old) and all the other members of your party as notified by you. This contract is for short term holiday let only. The contract is only effective once the completed signed booking form is received with the required payment and written confirmation of acceptance has been sent by us. You are required to check the confirmation carefully upon receipt.
2.Please supply your own bedsheets, duvet covers and towels (hand towels and bath mats provided).
3.The caravans should be left clean and in the order that you found them in; this keeps the costs to hire the vans down.
4.Bookings accepted from hirers over 18 years old.
5. We do allow dogs in each caravan at an additional cost of £5 per dog per booking. If anything is damaged then the owners are fully liable for repair or cleaning costs.
6.A non-refundable deposit of 20% is to be paid with the booking form. The remaining balance is due 4 weeks before the arrival date.
7.Bookings made less than 4 weeks before arrival date must be paid in full.
8.No refund is payable if the let has commenced and if the hirer has to vacate the caravan for any reason.
9.Cancellations and changes to the booking must be made in writing.
10.We reserve the right to cancel a holiday booking where full payment has not been received in accordance with these terms.
11.CANCELLATION We understand that things happen, which may mean the holiday has to be cancelled. If you are forced to cancel the holiday booking due to unforeseen circumstances let us know immediately. We shall not be liable for you cancelling your holiday due to adverse weather conditions, strikes, transport problems, or illness or death. If you do need to cancel in the first instance we will always try to fit you in with an alternative date, or at our other property,
12.LIABILITY Debra Hale and Vince Ayling shall not be liable for death or any personal injury. No liability is accepted for any other damage, injury, loss, expense accidental or otherwise or inconvenience to you or any member of your party and/or your or their belongings, damage by or to any third party or for damage to any motor vehicle or its contents which may be suffered, incurred, arise out of or in any way connected with the let. In the unlikely event that the owners have to cancel the let, and an alternative stay cannot be arranged they will reimburse the amount paid for the holiday.
13.The Owners also reserve the right to refuse or revoke bookings from parties which may in its opinion prove unsuitable as a result of their behaviour or otherwise for/in/at the Holiday Park.
14.CARE OF THE PROPERTY You and the members of your party are responsible for taking care of the property during your stay. All equipment and contents must be left clean and tidy on departure Any damages or breakages in the property are the joint responsibility of you and the member/s of your party that have caused the damage or breakage. The cost is payable upon demand. Minor breakages are not usually charged for being reasonable wear and tear but the hirer must report any damage before departure. We operate a non-smoking policy throughout.
15.A £50 charge may be levied if keys are taken from the property on departure to cover replacements and inconvenience.
16.RIGHT OF ENTRY The Owners of the caravans reserve the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for the purpose of emergency repairs should they become necessary. They will obviously respect your right to privacy and confidentiality and accommodate any reasonable request as to timing or arrangements in this.
17.The property must be securely locked when you and the members of your party are out and care taken not to expose the property to any fire risk or other risk such as flooding.
18.You and each one of the members of your party are responsible for acting in a responsible manner during the holiday period.
19.LOST PROPERTY Any property left by guests after their departure in the cottage will be held for 3 months then disposed of by giving to a local charity shop.
