Lakeland Leisure Park

Lakeland Leisure Park is Haven’s only Cumbrian holiday park and is only a 20- minute drive to Windermere or half an hour to Coniston in the Lake District. The park itself has both indoor and outdoor swimming pools and another of Haven’s 9-hole golf courses. There are also the usual favourites like AquaJets and Aqua Gliders within our very own water sports centre, as well as an ‘aerial adventure’ course, bowling, tennis courts. Other activities include a football academy and pottery painting. Nearby you will find Grange-over-Sands, a quiet seaside retreat. with one of the mildest climates in the north of England, is the perfect place to relax and unwind.

Similarly you can take in panoramic views across Morecambe Bay or walk in the Ornamental Gardens, where semi-tropical trees and shrubs surround the centre piece pond with its colourful array of ducks and geese from all over the world. The area is a haven for birdwatchers, painters and photographers.  Brass band concerts are held throughout the summer at the restored Victorian bandstand in Park Road Gardens and for the more adventurous there’s a programme of cross bay walks each summer with the Queen’s Official Guide to the Sands, however it must be said that you should never attempt this on your own.

Exit 36, M6, A590 Barrow-in-Furness. B5277 through Grange Over Sands and Allithwaite into Flookburgh. Left at village square and the Park is down this road.
