About the Property

Gould’s Farmhouse in Milborne St Andrew  offers fantastic self catering accommodation, nestled in the heart of rural Dorset.  Located near Dorchester in a scenic part of the county , it is ideal for a tranquil getaway.

Our wonderful farmhouse dates from the 1600s and has been beautifully renovated whilst maintaining many original features.  The farmhouse sleeps up to 8 people, great for a family holiday in a lovely location.

A spacious sitting room comes with a magnificent  open fire, comfy seating, antiques and a TV.  This is the perfect space to relax and socialise in after a day exploring the area.  You can also unwind in the south facing conservatory.

The unique dining room with inglenook is the perfect place for a long leisurely meal.

Farmhouse kitchen with Aga

4 lovely spacious double bedrooms are available.  Bedrooms 1 and 2 both have a king sized bed with ensuite facilities.  Bedrooms 3 and 4 each have twin beds and share a shower room.  Please note bedroom 4 is accessed through bedroom 3.

For those with limited mobility there is a lift upstairs (by prior arrangement)

Outside there is a large garden with sun loungers , picnic table and BBQ for al fresco dining.

We are only a 5 minute stroll from the centre of the village which has a charming pub and village shop.

There is ample off road parking

Stunning Lulworth Cove and Durdle Door are about 13 miles away and Weymouth Bay 16 miles.
