About the Property
2 bedroom dog friendly holiday chalet with fully enclosed front patio in Oxwich Bay Gower, Swansea. A stunning coastal location available for rentals Saturday to Saturday from mid March – December. Sleeps a family of 4 with adequate room for a large travel cot which can be provided on request (1 king size bed with pillows and duvet, 2 single beds with pillows and duvets). **Please note that all bed linen and towels are now provided, and the cost for this service is included in the price per week**
Will allow up to 2 well behaved medium dogs at an additional cost of £15 per dog per stay – please specify number and breeds in any enquiries (we may consider 3 very small dogs).
Chalet has a fully functional kitchen and bathroom with all the amenities that you will need for your stay. Both Tesco and Sainsburys deliver to us so you can order your shopping in advance or you can collect it on your way through Swansea as you pass both stores en route. There are also many takeaways, fish and chip shops and petrol stations with shops that make and sell local produce in the area surrounding Oxwich Bay as well as the Oxwich Bay hotel and Beach house restaurant just a 10 minute walk away.
The chalet has both a front and rear patio with tables and chairs for you to enjoy your meals or a few drinks Al fresco. The front patio is now fully enclosed with a brand new glass balustrade making it secure for both dogs and young children. There is also a large communal grassed area directly off the patio where children can play safely in view of the chalet.
The chalet has parking for 2 cars one behind the other directly to the rear of the property with parking on site for additional cars in the designated visitors spaces.

Excellent base for exploring the beautiful picturesque Gower peninsula. 10 minute walk to the all year round dog friendly beach where there are a range of water sports available (seasonal) and 2 beach front cafes. You can also enjoy a meal and a few drinks at either the Oxwich Bay Hotel or Beach house restaurant. There is also a lovely shop/cafe/fish and chip shop on the road just before arriving at the beach. The chalet is an ideal accommodation if you are visiting the area for a wedding/special occasion or just want to enjoy the scenery. We are ideally situated for other beautiful coastal walks to Port Eynon or three Cliff’s and central to many other local attractions as well as being a short drive into mumbles, Swansea.

We had an amazing stay, myself and my dogs went exploring the local area. I do not have a car but that didnt atop us walking 85 miles overall between Port Eynon, Bishopston, Penrice and Nicholaston. While out I found markers for the pilgrimage way and followed those to find its a 50 mile route from Penclawdd to Bishopston consisting of 17 churches where you can collect stamps along the way.
83 Bayview is a great base location for this as theres bus links from near the beach to be able to travel around the local area.
Its a lovely little place I have now stayed there 3 times, perfect with the dogs its a quiet place with lovely people.
The Bungalow is as good as it says on the tin, if you drive like I do now, there is a very good choice of venues within a few miles, like the Mumbles, the walks are also great all around the area of Bayview, also surfing, sailing, something for any age.
Booking Terms & Conditions
Non-refundable £50 deposit secures the booking plus a £100 damage and cleaning bond which will be refunded in full if on inspection there is no damage or extra cleaning required.
Please specify in your enquiry the number and breeds of any dogs that will be staying for an additional £15 per dog per stay.
All bookings run for 7 nights from Saturday to Saturday between late March and October from £600 pw.
Cancellation policy:
Provided that the guest pays the full balance on time, they can receive:
– a 75% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date if they cancel up to 14 days before check-in.
– a 50% refund of the total amount paid by the cancellation date if they cancel within 7 days of check-in.
COVID update:
Should we still be affected by COVID at the time of your stay, guests will be offered a full refund of any payments made or the opportunity to put the deposit towards another date with proof of positive COVID PCR.
