Sea Spray at The Sands Apartments is a luxurious self catering holiday apartment at the prestigious Sands Apartments in Carbis Bay.

The open plan living space is filled with large patio doors, framing the stunning sea view, and the private sea facing patio area, which leads onto communal gardens, is the perfect spot to enjoy a morning cuppa or pre-dinner drink ….. imagine sipping a drink whilst listening to the waves at Carbis Bay beach, which is only a five minute walk away. “Perfect” seems an apt description, whether you’re a couple on a romantic break or a family spending a week at the beach with the kids !
Carbis Bay was once one of Cornwall’s hidden gems, but hit the world stage in 2021 when it hosted the world leaders and was the gorgeous backdrop to the G7 summit, the stunning Blue Flag beach became world famous overnight, but remains a very peaceful holiday location. The beach is fairly sheltered and is ideal for swmming and paddle boarding, or you can catch the very scenic branch train line into St Ives, a 3 minute journey, where you can enjoy the hustle and bustle of this more lively fishing village.
The apartment itself has been tastefully decorated so that it will appeal to adults and children alike. The fabulous corner sofa has been carefully positioned to make the most of the sea views, and if you can tear your eyes away there is a 50″ Panasonic TV in the lounge, as well as a PURE stereo, DVD player and games console. The dining area has a desinger Calligaris table and four chairs, and a matching sideboard full of books and games to keep everyone entertained after long days out exploring the many delights of Cornwall.
The designer RokPunt kitchen is fully stocked, and there is a large NEFF fridge/freezer, NEFF oven and 5 ring hob, NEFF dishwasher as well as a washer / dryer too. The cupboards are full of quality items – such as Denby crockery and cutlery and Dartington glassware.
There are two roomy bedrooms, the master bedroom boasts a king size bed and has a fabulous ensuite shower room with drench shower. A large wardrobe, bedside drawers, flatscreen, TV, PURE radio, hairdryer and plenty of soft towels for everyone. The second bedroom can be made up either with a super king bed or two singles, making the accommodation flexbile enough for two couples or a family and is equipped with a large Ercol light oak wardrobe and matching bedside units, a 32″ flatscreen TV, stereo, hairdryer and towels.
The spacious family bathroom is fully tiled with white sanitaryware, including a bath and there’s a large mirrored cabinet to house all those teenage toiletries!
Externally, in addition to the sea facing patio there is also a sunny rear terrace, also with a table and four chairs as well as sunloungers – the rear terrace is a real sun trap and a great place to sit with a good book.
There is one allocated parking space through secure gated access as well as fibre broadband throughout the apartment.
A range of activities can be found nearby, including lots of different watersports – surfing, paddleboarding, kayaking and so much more – and there is a choice of links golf courses within a short drive. Spa and gym facilities are available locally, and there is a horseriding school and fishing lake a short drive away. There are several pubs and restaurants within walking distance, and a larger choice of eateries in St Ives itself. There is a lovely walk into St Ives along the South West coastal path or its just a 3 minute scenic train journey on the St Ives bay branch line.
