Thornwick Bay Holiday Village

East Yorkshires Thornwick Bay is a relatively new pet friendly holiday park. Thornwick Bay on the Flamborough Headland has lots on site. There’s an indoor swimming pool, although it doesn’t have an outdoor pool. In addition, there are loads of things to do including archery, fencing, painting and sand art. Some of the activities cost extra, but you can get bundles which make it a bit cheaper. After that take a slower pace and try kite flying and bird watching activities.

It’s a 10-minute walk to the coast, which is good for cliff top walks or to the stony beach. If you want a bucket and spade beach trip, your best bet is the short drive to Filey or Bridlington. Sweeping stretches of sand, ancient forests, and moody moors. Coastal Yorkshire is breathtakingly beautiful, dotted with much-loved resorts like Scarborough and Whitby.

Yorkshire’s deeply sculpted coastline, steeped in maritime history, prides itself on wide sandy beaches, teeming rock pools and a promenade of colourful resorts.
