Since July 2018 we have been offering our guests at Tattershall Lakes Country Park a top of the range executive lodge with roof terrace. There are only 5 of these on the park so we offer a very unique experience.
We were approached by the owner to take over a 2nd executive lodge with roof terrace which is directly in front of Bear Lodge so we can now offer larger parties the chance to be close to one another to celebrate that special birthday or of course hen party.
Approaching the lodge you enter via the gate on the wrap around veranda which has a professionally maintained sunken hot tub. There is a cubic rattan set of chairs and table. Access to the lodge is via the key located in the key safe by the door. The code will be messaged to you on day of arrival. On the veranda is a spiral staircase that leads to the roof terrace with its 360-degree view. From there you can admire the view watch the activities on the water ski lake or watch the RAF Jets fly over. On occasions you will see several aircraft vintage etc as the aircraft museum is not too far away.
On entering the lodge, you are in the well-equipped kitchen with built in large family size fridge and freezer and built in oven and grill and microwave plus a dishwasher. There are masses of storage cupboards and 5 ring hob with a special wok ring. Under the breakfast bar is a washer/dryer and in the L shaped island there is a wash basin and drying area. You then approach the separate dining table with 6 high back chairs. Behind the dining area is a cupboard which houses the boiler.
We provide dishwasher tablets, wash tablets and fabric conditioner which are in the cupboard over the microwave out of the reach of children.
Moving into the lounge area there are two comfy settees one of which turns into a sofa bed plus an armchair. There is a large 43”TV on the wall and a display cabinet and sideboard with lots of ornaments, books and games.
There is also portable DVD Player with an assortment of DVDs. From the window seats you can see Tattershall Castle and Church.
Moving from the dining area you enter a hallway. The first door on the left is the family bathroom with a large walk in shower toilet and wash hand basin. We supply hand wash toilet rolls hair shampoo and conditioner as well as shower gel and hand towel.
The next door on the left takes you into the first twin bedroom with large built in wardrobes and 2 full size single beds with a bedside cabinet between the two beds. Both beds have deluxe Silent Night mattress and pillow protectors bounce back pillows and duvets with luxury quilt cover sheet and pillowcases.
A bit further on to your right is the door to the 2nd twin bedroom. This also has fitted wardrobes and bedside cabinet between the two full size single beds with deluxe mattress and pillow protectors bounce back pillows and duvets with luxury quilt cover sheet and pillowcases.
The furthest door in the hallway takes you into the master bedroom with a king size bed again with luxury Silentnight mattress and pillow protectors bounce back pillows and duvets with super deluxe quilt cover sheet and pillowcases. At each side of the bed there is a bedside cabinet. There is a TV affixed to the wall. A door leads you to a dressing area with plenty of storage for clothes etc this leads to the ensuite shower room with large walk in shower toilet and wash hand basin. You will find a hand towel on the rail.
We supply all kitchen and bathroom essentials including bathroom toiletries, soap, shower gel, hair shampoo and conditioner. We supply 1 large towel per guest but would ask you bring your own towel for use with the hot tub.
We supply nursery equipment including travel cot (you will need to bring your own bedding for this) and a highchair. These are our personal items so please take care of them and leave in a good clean condition ready for next guests.
We provide a deluxe welcome pack which includes tea coffee sugar milk biscuits chocolates wine and a bottle of grape juice.
We do not provide entertainment passes these can be purchased on your arrival from guest services. Prices start at £33 and cover all occupants of the lodge.
We ask all our guests to respect the property and leave as found. Please take all rubbish to the bin and ensure all pots crockery etc are washed and dried and placed back in the relevant cupboards.
On arrival you benefit from the beds being made therefore to ensure we can do the same for the next guests please remove all used bedding/towels and place in the blue bag provided.

The price of your holiday does NOT include entertainment passes. These can be purchased from guest services on your arrival at the park and are charged per caravan and fixed by Away Resorts
A £100.00 non-refundable deposit for caravans and £125.00 for lodges must be received on making the booking. The payment will secure your holiday and a receipt for the deposit will be sent to you along with a balance sheet/booking form The final balance of your holiday will be due 4 weeks prior to your holiday start date unless otherwise agreed. In the event your payment does not reach us by the due date we reserve the right to re let the caravan.
For any bookings made within 3 weeks of start of holiday payment plus bond must be paid in full before the holiday can be confirmed as booked. Failure to do so may result in the break being sold to another person.
In addition to the cost of your holiday a £100.00 bond will be charged. £125 if a dog is included in the party if in a caravan and £125 and £150 respectively if staying in one of our lodges. The security bond is refundable upon full satisfactory inspection of the caravan (No damage or loss and that the caravan is left clean and tidy as found) Charges will apply where extra cleaning is needed. If breakages are not reported to RKD Holiday Lets Ltd at the time, then repairs or replacements will be charged to the hirer. If it is found that a dog that has not been approved has stayed at the property, we reserve the right to withhold some of the bonds to cover the extra cleaning required. Certain breeds of dog are not allowed under the park rules, so we reserve the right to request guests to leave if one of these is found to be at the property. A maximum of 2 dogs is allowed subject to approval and dependant on size/breed.
If you need to cancel your holiday after the balance has been paid and providing it is more than 4 weeks prior to your break, then you will be charged 30% of the total amount to cover administration costs. After this time no refund will be given. The check in time is as per your booking form either 2 or 3 pm. You will receive a text message when your caravan or lodge is ready together with the key safe code. During peak season it is unlikely to be ready any earlier than 2pm you may however arrive at park early and use the facilities provided you purchase an entertainment pass from guest services. Check out is 10am unless otherwise agreed prior to day of departure.
On the day of departure, you must vacate your caravan no later than 10am unless otherwise agreed prior to day of departure If you have not vacated by 10.15am a charge of £5 per half hour may be applied and deducted from your damage bond. Any late stays can prevent the next guests gaining access at the agreed time. The caravan should be left in a clean and tidy condition as found. The hirer is responsible for all members of the party and must make good any losses, breakages or damage done to the caravan and its contents during their stay. On departure the key/s must be placed in the key safe located on the veranda. Failure to do so will result in the loss of the security bond.
NO pets are allowed in Kingfisher Court 3 Kingfisher Court 42 or Rudd Lake 6. Anyone found having pets in these caravans may be asked to leave with NO refund. Pets will be allowed in Kingfisher Court 61 and Anglers Acre 13 Misty Bay 32 and 34 subjects to approval and additional charge. All caravans and lodges are non-smoking. You may smoke outside the caravan but please do not throw nud ends onto the area surrounding the units. Please dispose of them responsibly and carefully and not within the bins inside the units. The bond for breakages in the caravans which includes a dog will be £150. Any damage done to the caravan which is not covered by the bond will be charged to the person who hired the caravan. An invoice will be sent to you for payment. If not paid within 14 days of receipt, we will start proceedings in the small claims court.
You are advised to check the inventory on taking over the caravan. We are unable to accept responsibility for any defects or losses not reported to RKD Holiday Lets Ltd within 24 hours of your arrival.
During your stay we ask that you keep the caravan/lodge tidy and at the end of your stay ensure all pots pans crockery etc have been washed cleaned and put away. Whilst we employ cleaners, they are not there to do the washing up etc. We also ask that you strip the beds used and place the dirty laundry in the blue Ikea bag provided. This will enable us to continue to offer our guests the beds being made up on arrival.
Should you have any issues with the cleanliness of the caravan or lodge you will find a card with the names and numbers of the cleaners and provided you advise them of any issues on arrival they will return to the property and deal with the matter as soon as possible.
We the owners will not be liable for any injury or death, loss of property or damage suffered by the hirer or any member of your party, your belongings are also your responsibility during your stay. Any persons using the hot tub do so at their own risk. Any persons under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult.
We provide a travel cot, highchair and bed guard but these will be used at your own risk. We do not accept responsibility for injury or loss. These are our own personal property so please use them carefully and fully clean them after use, so they are ready to use for our next guests Thank you. We do not supply bedding or mattresses for the travel cots, you will need to bring your own if required. Some Away Resorts facilities may not be in operation during off peak season periods for which we do not have any control and therefore do not accept responsibility at any time.
Should accommodation booked become unavailable due to responsibility beyond our control we will inform you and either offer you alternative accommodation or date or full refund.
Each caravan or lodge is insured for a MAXIMUM number of guests as follows (infants in a travel cot count as an occupier.
Rudd Lake 6 Maximum 6 persons
Anglers Acre 13 6 persons plus 1 infant
Kingfisher court 3 42 and 61 Maximum 8 persons
Misty Bay 32 and 34 Maximum 8 persons
Whilst we don’t mind you having day visitors during your stay, we cannot allow additional persons to stay overnight and they must leave the park no later than 11.30pm.
ANYONE FOUND TO BE EXCEEDING THE MAXIMUM NUMBER OF GUESTS WILL BE ASKED TO LEAVE IMMEDIATELY AND NO REFUND WILL BE GIVEN AS OVER OCCUPANCY INVALIDATES THE INSURANCE. PLEASE BE AWARE SPOT CHECKS MAY BE CARRIED OUT DURING YOUR STAY.
Further Terms and conditions relating to Hot Tub usage. Any persons using the hot tub do so at their own risk. Any persons under 16 must be accompanied by a responsible adult. Guests use the hot tub at their own risk.
Rules pertaining to the hot tub can be found displayed in the hot tub area. If the hot tub company report misuse or a flagrant disregard to the rules, then the damage bond will not be refunded. DO NOT SIT STAND OR WALK ON THE HOT TUB LID. THESE ARE VERY FRAGILE AND YOU WILL BE CHARGED SHOULD THE LID BE BROKEN DURING YOUR STAY.
The lid is checked when the water is changed at every changeover as well as the daily chemical checks. Should the bond be insufficient to cover the cost a bill will be raised for the outstanding balance. Payment will be due 14 days from receipt after which time we will start proceedings at the small claims court.
