Rental fee can be made in weekly installments from the booking date, final payment to be received 1 week before the arrival date. 1st installment will be required when booking the Lodge. Receive confirmation payment receipts.

Highly recommend this place.
I had great pleasure of spending a lot of time over the years at the Lodge in York working on my PhD Thesis. Well kept and peaceful. Occasions when my family stayed and they loved it. It has serenity and exclusivity, also nearness to amenities that make it an ideal holiday hideaway or suitable for short breaks. Proprietor is very pleasant, affable, always ready to help.

Every effort is made to make the Lodge as hygenically safe as is possible. By using Sanatiser and Anti Bacterial Products to all areas, includes Beds, Bedding, all linen provided. Indoor and Outdoor furnishngs upon every change over.

Stayed at the luxury Lodge for 9 weeks perfectly situated for my commute to York University for work. Spotless, clean, tidy, neat. The bedrooms are ample size for our requirements.  2 bathrooms ideal for 4 persons. Kitchen is spacious and well stocked with utensils. Lounge relaxing and accommodating. All in all perfect. Home from home. Would definitely stay here if required. For a weekend break in York is a must.  Jean its been a pleasure staying here. Thanks for having us.

Set in it’s own large mature garden areas to all sides in a Countryside Location on the outskirts of the Cultural City of York, near the Yorkshire Wolds and Moors. Ideal central location to visit York and many of Yorkshires varied attractions to include the East Coast.
Centrally heated. Continuous supply of hot water.

Several files containing a wealth of information of places to visit in York, surrounding areas, wider radius. Included Maps. Range of books and games provided.

Few minutes walk to the Bus stop from the Lodge. Regular good Daytime/Evening bus service to York and to York Railway Station, Market Town of Pocklington, Beverley, Hull and the coast. Bus passes accepted. Approximately 10 minutes to the York Park and Ride.

Few minutes walk from the lodge is an Oriental Restaurant/Pub. Also a Mediteranean cafe/takeaway.

Lodge internally is on one level and has in the past accommodated guests with disabilities.

Lodge Comprises of:-

Large comfortable lounge, dining area, semi open plan to the snug and good size well stocked kitchen. Patio doors lead of the snug onto the veranda that continues around the lodge to a patio. Veranda Overlooks a large lawn mature private garden of flora. Wide range of garden furnishings. Sunny position ideal for dining out Al Fresco, or breakfast on the Patio or veranda.

Position of the lodge provides sunny and shaded areas to all sides throughout the day.

2 Double bedrooms. ( 1 can also be used as a snug, diner or playroom) has it’s own access door onto the veranda.

All bedrooms have wardrobes, drawers, shelving. Bedside tables and lamps. Bedding provided.

Bathroom 1. Adjacent to all bedrooms of the hallway is a large size bathroom with a large corner bath and shower tap attachment. Toilet, Sink.

Bathroom 2. Walk in Shower, toilet, sink. Towels provided.

Private drive to accommodate 2 vehicles. Nearby secure parking facilities for any additional vehicles if required.

Lodge is in peaceful countryside setting offering privacy to relax or eat out alfresco on the patio or veranda. Gated providing a safe area for children to play.

Property is continually maintained to a good standard, having recently been redecorated throughout. New shower, cubicle and tiled shower room flooring. Refurbished to areas externally.
