A Dog Friendly Holiday

Welcome to No.62, our holiday bungalow on the beautiful Gower Peninsula in Wales.

We are not just a really dog friendly home from home, but good for humans too!

The open plan lounge, dining area and kitchen means that you don’t have to miss anything that’s going on as the space is really sociable.

On top of that, the tiled and wooden floors mean that you don’t have to worry about wet dog paws after walks, or muddy boots or clothes either, as you only have to mop the floors to make them sparkle again, so you can spend more time relaxing and less time worrying about mud or sand.

There’s a separate shower room and bathroom, and heating in every room, which makes winter and spring breaks really enjoyable too!

So, after a long day biking, hiking or surfing around the beautiful Gower coastline, you can climb into a hot bath or shower to de-stress and then relax in front of the television before visiting one of the excellent local hostelries.

But if you want to stay in, our well equipped kitchen including dishwasher will give you everything that you need to rejuvenate ready for more holiday action!

No. 62 is located in the Gower Holiday Village in South Wales.   The village has a swimming pool, hot tub, play area & ample parking and is two or three miles from Port Eynon & Rhossili beaches on the Gower Peninsula, an area of outstanding natural beauty.

There are six castles on the Gower Peninsula and four of its beaches have Blue Flag awards for their high standards.   Rhossili beach is ‘One of the Top 10 Coastal Walks’ and ‘The UK’s No.1 dog-friendly beach’ said The Times.  The area was well known to Dylan Thomas too.

The Michelin Travel Guide says: “Gower Peninsula features a chain of superb beaches and magnificent cliffs extending along the south coast for 22km … Continue as far as the small village of Rhossili and savour the stunning view of the coast.

Booking Terms & Conditions

No.62 Terms & Conditions

The following terms and conditions apply to all booking made in respect of the holiday property known as “Number 62” or “No.62” as shown and described in this website.
Prices & Booking
Unless otherwise agreed in writing, bookings are made on a weekly basis from Saturday to Saturday, with arrival after 3pm and departure by 11am on the final day.For out of season bookings, by which we mean before Easter and after the Indian Summer periods, it may be possible to change arrival and departure dates – please check with us first – see the Availability & Booking and Contact Us pages in this website.The property is not available during the period from January 1st to March 1st.  No smoking at No.62 is allowed at any time.All bookings must be made in writing and are not binding until payment has been requested and received.Prices quoted are per week or the equivalent daily rate.Payment
All bookings are deemed to be provisional and non-binding until you receive from us an additional confirmation email which we will be sent as soon as possible once we have received either your deposit or full payment, whichever is the earlier.For bookings made more than 8 weeks prior to commencement of your stay, a non-refundable deposit of £100 per week is required with the outstanding balance paid in full no less than 8 weeks prior to commencement, failing which we reserve the right to cancel your booking.Bookings made less than 8 weeks prior to commencement of your stay must be paid in full when booking.All payments should be made either by electronic funds transfer to our bank account or via Paypal, as detailed in the initial acknowledgement of your booking request emailed to you.As soon as you receive such initial acknowledgement, payment of your deposit or in full as the case may be (see above) should be sent forthwith – your booking will be held provisionally for seven days in the meantime.Please note that all bookings are subject to our terms and conditions shown here, to which you confirm your agreement by making payment as aforesaid.Numbers
You must advise us in advance of the number of people in your party staying at No.62, which under no circumstances may exceed six persons, including both adults and children.  No single sex parties under 25 years old are allowed.Cancellation
Should you cancel your booking for any reason, the balance due is still payable if you cancel within 8 weeks of the commencement of your holiday.  Neverthless, we will use reasonable endeavours to obtain a replacement booking and if we succeed we will refund your payment.Non-availability of No.62
If for any reason beyond our control (as for example, but without limitation, fire or damage or flood), the property is not available for the dates booked, all payments will be refunded in full but we shall not be liable for any claim or compensation in respect of any other loss or damage suffered, whether directly or indirectly.Dogs
You are responsible for the behaviour of your dogs whilst staying at Number 62, and it is a condition of booking that you have third party insurance in respect thereof for the duration of your stay.

The owners of Number 62 are not responsible for any accidents that your dogs may have or cause whilst staying at Number 62.

You are expected to clean up after your dogs and keep them on a lead at all times whilst on the Gower Holiday Village grounds.

No more than four dogs may stay at the property at any one time.  Dogs may not be left unattended inside the property.

Unforeseen circumstances
Guests should allow the owners of No.62 sufficient time to rectify any problem due to unforeseen circumstances regarding the property.  Guests must notify the owners immediately of any issues.

Variation
No variation, amendment or waiver of these terms and conditions shall apply unless previously agreed by Jules Evans in writing.
