About the Property

Church Cottage is peacefully nestled in the quiet Northumbrian Village of Wall, this traditional, detached stone cottage sleeps four and is well equipped for a comfortable stay. It has been tastefully renovated in a cottage style, it is charming and homely, with exposed beams, an original stone feature wall and a wood burner in the lounge. Ample, comfortable sofas to relax after a day’s walk, watch a bit of television, chill out with a good book, or that crafty project you always meant to start!

The bright, spacious kitchen is a sociable space with an original Victorian table that seats six, a good place to plan the week’s activities or share meals and laughter. Two bedrooms are set in the roof space upstairs; a king and a twin room. The ceilings are sloped with original beams, blackout blinds and deep sprung mattresses with memory foam toppers, to ensure a relaxing sleep even in the middle of summer. A small third room upstairs has Wii Player, games and a DVD player. This room may also be used for a travel cot. We are also part of Green Tourism and aim to use eco-friendly and sustainable practices where possible.

The cottage has also invested in a complete Air-sterilization system to provide moisture and chemical-free protection against bacteria and viruses.
